We are a private dental office looking for a dental assistant. Part Time/full time.

Current hours are 8:30-3:30.

Days are Tuesday to Friday.

Looking for a Dental assistant that has a positive attitude and is reliable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
• Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing necessary tools and materials promptly.
• Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or 3D scanners to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
• Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout treatments, especially for pediatric patients or those requiring special care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment by adhering to infection control standards and proper disposal of contaminated materials.

• Must be able to take Xrays

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
