Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Restaurant General Manager to lead our location at South Coast Plaza. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, including operations, team leadership, guest experience, financial results, and local marketing execution. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional guest experience

Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team

Create staff schedules, manage labor costs, and approve payroll

Manage inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, and cost control

Own the restaurant's financial performance (sales, expenses, P&L) and drive profitability

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards

Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues effectively

Lead and execute local marketing initiatives and community engagement

Monitor key performance metrics and prepare monthly reports

Collaborate with Regional Manager and Headquarters on business strategy and growth

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture

Qualifications

3–5+ years of restaurant management experience (General Manager or Assistant GM preferred)

Proven leadership experience managing teams of 20+ employees

Strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial management

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Experience with POS systems and operational reporting tools

Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail

Bilingual in Mandarin and English is a strong plus

Pay: $75, $90,000.00 per year
