Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Pay: $13–$16 per hour

As the new year begins, Creative Play Preschool is excited to welcome an Assistant Teacher to our Two-Year-Old classroom. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive school community where learning is playful, routines matter, and every child is encouraged to grow at their own pace.

Our program was founded by a mother of two with a background in social work, with the goal of creating a warm, inclusive environment that feels like a second home for children and families. We believe young children learn best through hands-on experiences, positive relationships, and consistent care.

What You'll Do

• Assist with daily classroom activities designed for two-year-olds
• Support a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Help guide children through routines such as meals, playtime, and rest
• Encourage social development, communication, and early independence
• Work closely with the lead teacher and classroom team
• Share daily information with families as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred
• Early childhood credentials a plus
• Ability to meet NC DCDEE requirements, including background check, TB test, and health screening
• Dependable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children
