Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and maintaining a safe environment for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
• Support the nursing team in administering medications and treatments as directed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and needs.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems like eClinicalWorks.
• Adhere to safety protocols, particularly in infectious disease care settings.

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Experience in home care or senior care environments is preferred.
• Understanding of anatomy to assist in patient assessments and care delivery.
• Ability to phlebotomize for blood draws when required by the healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with clinic operations and patient service best practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.
