DEPARTMENT: Corporate REPORTS TO: Shipping/Receiving supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

Packing and Crating company seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate to co-ordinate the daily activities and engage with materials movement/handling, receiving, loading, unloading, stacking, and shipping.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse.
Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies and procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and the Food and Drug
Administration (FDA).
Ensure all equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and fleet trucks, is properly maintained and inspection practices are followed

ACCOUNTABILITIES/PERFORMANCE CRITERIA :

Basic Computer Skills
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma preferred (GED)
Must be able to lift up 50 lbs.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
