LICENSED DESIGN/PROJECT ARCHITECT WITH REVIT SKILLS

Westgroup Designs is growing to meet the needs of our clients We have a fantastic opportunity for a licensed architect to work on projects in a variety of sectors, including commercial, civic, education, healthcare, multi-family, mixed use and others. Team members most often work on projects from the visioning and planning phases through construction administration, which provides opportunities for growth, learning and leadership.

*The candidate we're seeking will have at least 5 years in a similar role, with projects in California and the US west coast; experience with local government agency jurisdictions; working in tandem with engineering consultants and producing detailed sets of construction documents using Revit software.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead construction document preparation in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Coordinate documents from internal staff, consultants, and contractors.

Handle construction administration tasks, including shop drawing and submittal reviews.

Document code review and compliance. § Possess knowledge of industry standards, construction methods, and building systems.

Utilize Revit with high technical proficiency.

Perform quality control checks on design and construction documents.

Lead and mentor a team of architectural designers and drafters.

Stay updated on trends, technologies, and best practices through professional development

WHO WE LOOKING FOR

5+ years of architectural experience

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

California Architectural License

Proficiency in Revit, with proven work experience in an architectural environment

Effective communicator and a Team player

CASp certification is a plus

LEED and/or WELL accreditations are a plus

*Salary negotiable with level of skill and experience
