Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

Our clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the direction of a licensed physical therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in implementing treatment plans created by the physical therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches
• Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients on proper techniques for at-home exercises
• Assist in setting up and maintaining therapy equipment
• Communicate with patients and their families to ensure understanding of treatment plans
• Collaborate with the physical therapist to adjust treatment as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate's degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
• Current certification as a physical therapy assistant
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
