Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing personalized service in a casual restaurant setting , ensuring guest satisfaction from order to check presentation. Prior experience with POS systems and food handling procedures is essential to maintain high standards of sanitation and efficiency. We are a breakfast, brunch and lunch establishment and this position is for daytime hours only and weekends are a must.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food preparation and serving
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining a clean dining environment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
• Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation standards diligently
• Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Experience with upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.13 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
