Line Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality expectations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages
• Adhere to dietary department guidelines when preparing meals for specific dietary needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus
• Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation processes
• Excellent knife skills and understanding of food safety regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in the food service industry, including dietary aide or kitchen experience, is beneficial
