Assistant Teacher for Infant/Toddler Classes

We are accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher at our Early Education Center for the school year and the 2026 summer program. This position would start mid/end of January after we return from our Christmas break, and start the hiring process. We have four infant classes and a Toddler class and are looking for an amazing, experienced dependable Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team in one of our older Infant/Toddler classes. Our school year began on August 13th, and we are looking for someone to step into this role to provide our Older Infant/Toddler class (18 months to 22 months) the consistency they need for the remainder of the school year and the 2026 summer program. This position is 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with hours 7:45 am to 4:45 pm. Our class ratio for this age group is 13 children to 2 teachers, a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher.

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years' experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare center. We prefer someone who has experience teaching conscious discipline and the Frogstreet curriculum. You must be loving, kind, and have good communication skills. You must also be organized and willing to set clear, firm boundaries with the children to provide a strong classroom structure that enables a positive learning environment.

Our Preschool accepts children from infants 6 weeks of age through Pre-K. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm/5 pm for infants. We follow the Arlington ISD school year calendar for Holiday closings. We also have an 8-week summer program in June and July. We provide a structured Preschool Program and teach the FrogStreet Curriculum. We are searching for someone who has experience teaching preschool-age children in a licensed center. Must be knowledgeable of Minimum standards and VERY flexible.

The ideal candidate must be 21 years of age, flexible, energetic, a team player, and have experience working in a licensed childcare center. We also need someone VERY dependable and someone willing to commit to ONE FULL year remainder of the (2025/2026 school year and Summer 2026)

Requirements for the job include:

· Christian/actively involved in a church 21 years or older

· NO criminal history and must be able to pass a background check, including an FBI fingerprint check. (PLEASE do not apply if you have a criminal history of any kind)

· High School diploma/GED

· Flexible, dependable, team player

· Prior experience teaching or experience in a licensed childcare facility required. (Prefer 4 plus yrs.)

· Arlington Childcare certificate is a plus

· CPR/First Aid Certified a plus

. Familiar with Ministry Safe Policies and Procedures

· Must meet all requirements by Childcare licensing
