Job Description: As a Domestic Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our domestic transportation services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer support to our clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns related to domestic trucking. You will serve as the main point of contact between our company and our customers, fostering strong relationships and delivering superior service.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and requests related to domestic trucking services.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer communications via phone, email, and other channels.
• Provide quotes and pricing for a multitude of services, ensuring the client's needs and requests are met.
• Coordinate and track domestic shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery according to customer requirements.
• Proactively monitor shipment statuses and address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as operations, dispatch, and drivers to ensure seamless execution of transportation services.
• Provide accurate and timely updates to customers regarding the status of their shipments and any relevant information.
• Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, transactions, and shipment details in the company's systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of customer service procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or related fields is a plus.
• Range of 2-10 years of experience in the domestic transportation industry, or logistics field.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of domestic trucking operations, including terminology, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and resolving issues.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and experience with logistics software or systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Pay Range: $20 - $27 per hour (based on experience)
