Job purpose

The mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to eradicating homelessness amongst our veterans.

The Director of Corporate Giving supports the Foundation's national corporate partnership strategy, securing and stewarding multi-year, high-value corporate gifts. This role drives revenue growth through sponsorships, cause marketing, and employee engagement, while collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to maximize partner impact and engagement.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive national corporate giving strategy aligned with Foundation-wide revenue goals.
  • Secure multi-year corporate partnerships across sponsorships, cause marketing, employee engagement, and philanthropic giving.
  • Grow a diversified corporate portfolio including Fortune 500 companies, mid-market partners, and mission-aligned brands.
  • Establish annual revenue targets, pipeline benchmarks, and performance metrics for corporate giving.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate donors at the five-, six-, and seven-figure levels.
  • Lead proposal development, contract negotiation, and partnership renewals.
  • Design customized partnership opportunities aligned with corporate CSR, ESG, and employee engagement priorities.
  • Serve as a senior representative of the Foundation in meetings, presentations, and corporate briefings.
  • Support corporate sponsorships across Signature Events, National Run & Climb Series, Endurance programs, and other campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Events and Marketing teams to ensure strong sponsor activation, brand alignment, and fulfillment.
  • Support the development of cause marketing initiatives and point-of-sale campaigns.
  • Lead, mentor, and support corporate giving staff and volunteers.
  • Collaborate closely with Events, Marketing, and Development teams to maximize corporate engagement.
  • Coordinate with Executive Leadership and Board members to leverage networks and introductions.
  • Ensure best in class stewardship for all corporate partners, including impact reporting, recognition, and executive engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of corporate relationships, proposals, and revenue in Salesforce.
  • Analyze performance data to inform strategy, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Produce regular reports and updates for senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7–10+ years of experience in corporate fundraising, partnerships, or business development.
  • Demonstrated success securing six- and seven-figure corporate gifts or sponsorships.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience managing pipelines, forecasts, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience leading corporate giving programs for national nonprofits.
  • Familiarity with CSR, ESG, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Experience working with Boards, executive leadership, or volunteer councils.
  • Passion for supporting military, first responder, and veteran communities.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask multiple projects and supervise personnel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Google Suite (or equivalent).
  • Pre-employment screening, including a background check, is required.

Working conditions

Special working conditions may include: a change in days worked, shift hours, and/or working conditions (outdoors or other locations) when participating and assisting in special events needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90, $105,000.00 per year
