About Better Beverages
BetterBeverages is a fast-growing beverage manufacturer producing better-for-you drinks for national brands and retailers.
The Role
We're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician who takes pride in doing things the right way — someone who notices details others miss, understands why procedures exist, and wants to build a real career in food safety and quality. You'll be on the floor, in the process, and close to production — testing product, verifying standards, and helping ensure everything leaving the facility meets both regulatory requirements and our own internal bar for quality.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine product testing (pH, Brix, TA, sensory)
- Conduct in-process and finished product inspections
- Complete QA logs, records, and documentation accurately and consistently
- Support FSMA, HACCP, FDA, and SQF programs
- Verify sanitation and pre-operational checks
- Assist with investigations, deviations, and CAPAs
- Support internal audits and customer quality requirements
- Communicate clearly with production to uphold quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Experience in food or beverage manufacturing preferred
- Working knowledge of food safety fundamentals (FSMA/HACCP)
- Comfortable in a production environment (this is not a remote role)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Confident following procedures and speaking up when something isn't right
- PCQI certification preferred or willingness to obtain (company-paid training)
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Curious, responsible, and motivated to grow within QA and food safety
Why This Role
- Hands-on QA experience in a fast-growing beverage category
- Company-supported PCQI training and professional development
- Close collaboration with operations and leadership
- Stable role with room for growth
Location Note
This position is based on-site in Gypsum, CO. Candidates should be comfortable working in a rural mountain community
