Technical Project Leadership & Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of complex cloud storage projects, encompassing detailed architectural design, hands-on implementation, and successful operationalization, ensuring alignment with technical roadmaps and quality standards. Architectural Design & Hands-on Implementation: Design, build, and optimize scalable, resilient, and secure cloud storage solutions across GCP and AWS, ensuring rigorous alignment with enterprise architectural principles, security policies, and performance objectives. Engineering Best Practices: Champion and apply advanced engineering best practices, utilizing modern tooling to enable robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure as code (IaC), and policy as code within development cycles. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical guidance and share expertise with junior and mid-level engineers, contributing to their growth and elevating the team's overall technical capabilities. 6+ years of progressive hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 3+ years specifically in a technical lead or principal role, architecting, implementing, and managing complex cloud storage solutions in AWS or GCP. Deep expertise in cloud storage services across multiple public cloud providers (AWS, GCP). Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform, and proven ability to design and implement automated pipelines for provisioning, testing, and managing cloud resources at scale. Experience with container orchestration platforms (GKE, EKS, ECS) and their integration with cloud storage. Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python preferred) with a focus on developing robust automation, APIs, and cloud-native applications. Demonstrated passion for driving automation, advocating for clean code/DRY principles, and solving highly complex, large-scale technical problems. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and resolving critical technical challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and drive consensus among technical peers and stakeholders. Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
