We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance
• Handle janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces
• Assist with custodial maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, and minor repairs to ensure facilities are in top condition
• Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, including cleaning large equipment or specialized areas
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and restock supplies as necessary to ensure continuous operations
• Follow safety protocols and proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning procedures
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting, is a plus
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers effectively
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary

Pay: $ $17.22 per hour
