Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Candidates should be proficient in POS systems such as Aloha and Micros, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate excellent customer service abilities. Prior experience in the food industry, including food handling, catering, or retail math, is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Take and serve orders accurately using POS systems including Aloha and Micros.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable dining or drinking experience.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with food presentation and serving during banquets or special events as needed.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Server/Bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tables or bar orders efficiently through effective time management.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
- Experience with catering or event service is a plus.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing is advantageous.

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
