Topshelf Pizza & Pub. We are seeking a reliable, full-time/part-time Line Cook to join our team and help you expand your experience and abilities in the restaurant industry.

Position Overview

The Line Cook plays a crucial role in assisting our team in preparing delicious, high-quality meals. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about food preparation, possesses a desire to learn, and can maintain pace in a busy kitchen environment.

Core Responsibilities

The Line Cook is responsible for precise food preparation, station management, and execution of daily services:

• Food Preparation: Assist in daily food preparation and cooking tasks. Duties include chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients; measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes; and preparing raw ingredients (e.g., washing and peeling vegetables).
• Cooking Standards: Follow detailed recipes and portion control guidelines accurately.
• Inventory & Maintenance: Stock and maintain accurate inventory of food supplies and rotation.
• Sanitation & Safety: Strictly adhere to standards for cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Catering Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Must have basic cooking knowledge and be skilled with using various types of cooking and kitchen equipment.
• Work Ethic: Must be able to keep pace in a busy kitchen environment.
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment: We are looking for a motivated team player with a positive attitude.

Compensation & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-time.
• Pay: Competitive starting wage.
• Schedule: (Specify Shifts/Hours, e.g., Must be available nights and weekends).
