Duties

• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs with precision.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures in podiatry.
• Minimum one year experience especially in podiatry, orthopedics and or dermatology but will accept other areas as well.
• Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage supplies to maintain a sterile and organized environment.
• Support medication administration under supervision, including injections and other treatments as authorized.
• Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information accurately and ensure seamless data flow.
• Conduct basic diagnostic tasks such as taking X-rays or assisting with laboratory tests in accordance with safety protocols.
• Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance details, and providing exceptional patient service from check-in to discharge.

Experience

• Prior experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital settings is required. Minimum one year
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and medication administration processes.
• Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks is essential for success in this role.
• Experience with X-ray operation or other diagnostic imaging tools is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
