Low Voltage Estimator

Overview
MK2 Communications, LLC is a growing low-voltage and structured cabling contractor specializing in commercial projects. We work closely with general contractors, construction managers, and end clients to deliver reliable, high-quality technology infrastructure solutions.

We are seeking a motivated Low Voltage Estimator / Sales Representative to support our continued growth. This role combines estimating, proposal development, and relationship-driven sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, fiber, Wi-Fi, cameras, access control, and related technologies
• Review drawings, specifications, and RFPs to develop accurate scopes of work
• Work with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing and lead times
• Follow up on bids and actively pursue new business opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, and partners
• Assist with contract negotiations and project handoff to operations
• Track leads, bids, and awarded projects

Qualifications

• Experience in low-voltage estimating and/or technical sales (preferred)
• Strong understanding of commercial low-voltage systems (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber, WAPs, cameras, etc.)
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated with a sales-oriented mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; estimating software experience a plus

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
