Duties

• Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to established standards and customer specifications
• Package meat products efficiently while maintaining freshness and presentation quality
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about cuts and preparation methods, and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
• Follow proper knife skills techniques to maximize efficiency and safety during meat processing
• Support inventory management by rotating stock, restocking displays, and noting product shortages or quality issues

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments, preferably within the food industry or restaurant settings
• Strong knife skills with the ability to efficiently cut, debone, and trim meats
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques to prevent contamination
• Familiarity with meat cutting equipment and packaging tools
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with precision
• Culinary experience or previous roles involving food handling are highly desirable
