Painter/General Maintenance

The Prestigious Trump National Golf Club Charlotte located on beautiful Lake Norman in Mooresville, North Carolina is currently accepting applications for full-time Painter/Facilities Maintenance.

EXPERIENCED PAINTERS ONLY

We are seeking a skilled Painter/General Maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial painting, and in facilities maintenance.

Duties:

· Prep, paint and maintain all buildings on property when needed

· Also must know the basic steps on preparation on interior and exterior painting

· Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, and building systems

· Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively

Responsibilities of the Painter:

· Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.

· Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

· Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)

· Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture

Requirements of the Painter:

· Proven experience as a painter

· Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them

· Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques

· Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)

· MUST PASS A DRUG TEST
