We are recruiting enthusiastic Picker/Packers for our Atlanta, Georgia distribution center. This is a critical role in our logistics chain, responsible for ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and carefully packed for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals for our logistics network.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Picker/Packer role or similar warehouse position is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail for error-free order processing.
- Capability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment and following all logistics protocols.
- Basic computer proficiency for using RF scanners or other systems.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
