Join our fast-paced logistics operation in Sacramento, California, as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick products for customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will work closely with warehouse management systems, utilizing scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential. We provide all necessary PPE and expect strict adherence to safety protocols. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic warehouse environment and develop skills in the logistics field. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner prompts.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items appropriately for shipment.
- Stage orders for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and safety.
