We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy warehouse in Boise, Idaho. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your expertise ensures the efficient and safe handling of materials within our logistics facility. This position requires a high degree of precision, adherence to strict safety protocols, and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment. You will be essential in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, possesses a valid forklift certification, and has a proven track record of reliable operation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items to designated areas.
- Stack and stage merchandise according to established procedures.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and shipping processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating WMS.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Contribute to team efforts and support overall logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
