We are seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our distribution center. This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. Your daily responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping a variety of products. You will work closely with inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and will be responsible for the upkeep and organization of warehouse spaces. The ideal candidate is a team player, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and committed to upholding our high standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Stock shelves and manage inventory using our warehouse management system.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed and certified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with shipping preparations, including labeling and staging orders.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow all safety procedures.
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts, including potential overtime as needed.
