As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient flow of products through our distribution center. You will work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and maintain a high standard of accuracy and productivity. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for transportation, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
