Join our team as a Picker/Packer in our San Antonio, Texas distribution center! We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include using RF scanners to locate items, picking the correct quantities of products, and packaging them securely for shipment. Accuracy and speed are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient logistics operations. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, collaborating with colleagues to meet daily targets. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all team members are expected to follow strict safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and be vigilant about maintaining a hazard-free workspace. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanning technology.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Package products securely and apply shipping labels.
- Ensure quality control throughout the picking and packing process.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Meet or exceed performance standards for productivity and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
