Join our logistics team in Columbus, Ohio, as a Receiving Clerk! We need a vigilant and organized individual to manage the inflow of goods into our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments, ensuring that our inventory system is up-to-date. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the smooth flow of operations. Key duties include: Unloading incoming shipments from trucks and verifying contents against purchase orders or delivery manifests. Inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies upon arrival. Accurately entering received goods into the warehouse management system (WMS). Storing received items in designated areas efficiently and safely. Reporting any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to appropriate personnel immediately. Adhering strictly to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of required PPE. Performing regular lifting of packages, often up to 50 lbs. Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area. Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory flow. This position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy within the logistics field. Experience in receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
