We are seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our expanding logistics hub in Sacramento, California. This role is multifaceted, involving various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include: Receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and documenting any discrepancies. Storing inventory accurately in designated locations using appropriate equipment. Picking items for customer orders with speed and precision. Packing orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection. Preparing shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging. Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper use of PPE. Performing regular lifting of materials, sometimes exceeding 50 lbs. Contributing to inventory control and cycle counts. Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a dedication to excellence in logistics. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
