You will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and staging items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications. Precision, speed, and a commitment to safety are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in assigned picking zones.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged items to a supervisor immediately.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall team success.
- Contribute to a culture of efficiency and accuracy in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
