We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our Atlanta, Georgia team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory within the logistics operations. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures. A strong commitment to Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential for this position. While not primarily a physical role, some tasks may involve occasional Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate reorder needs.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stockroom and storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail abilities.
- Understanding of Safety protocols and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in logistics.
