Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety, utilizing all required PPE at all times.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic inventory management principles.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies in the logistics field.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
