We are hiring a dedicated Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our **logistics** and distribution processes. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, and dispatching goods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory efficiently.
- Operate powered industrial trucks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures, including the use of **PPE**.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of merchandise.
- Assist in preparing shipments for dispatch, including documentation.
- Identify and report any operational issues or discrepancies.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including frequent **lifting** of up to 60 lbs, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory control.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, or willingness to train.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to upholding **safety** standards and properly utilizing **PPE**.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
