You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against order documentation.
- Unpack, sort, and stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick products accurately for customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and participate in stocktaking activities.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE and proper lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Dedication to workplace safety and the consistent use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
Working Conditions:
This position operates within a warehouse setting. The role requires sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Environmental conditions may include temperature variations. Adherence to all safety standards and the mandatory use of provided PPE are critical.
