Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse equipment and facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally. You will play a key role in preventing downtime and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and a commitment to safety are essential. This is a critical position that requires technical expertise and problem-solving skills. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company Safety policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to understand equipment needs and operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Properly use and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Manage the safe Lifting and movement of equipment or parts during maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks as needed.
  • Capability to Lift up to 50 lbs.
