Join our expanding Indianapolis, Indiana warehouse team as an Order Picker! In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your primary duties will include navigating the warehouse using pick lists, identifying products, and ensuring the correct items and quantities are gathered. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to Safety and teamwork. We are dedicated to providing a secure and productive work environment, equipping our employees with the necessary tools and training, including proper PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick assigned items from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities for accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment, ensuring proper handling.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Meet established productivity targets for order picking.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed, contributing to overall logistics flow.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety practices.
- Willingness to wear and maintain all required PPE.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and a desire to be part of a successful team.
