We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage our warehouse operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. This leadership role is vital for ensuring the efficiency, organization, and Safety of our logistics hub. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and implementing operational improvements. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in warehouse management, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of logistics principles. A commitment to Safety and team development is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory control, ensuring accuracy and efficient stock rotation.
- Coordinate the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of products.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse personnel on best practices.
- Oversee the Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring operational readiness.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs within the logistics operation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, staff, and operational processes.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Experience with material handling equipment operation is a plus.
