Join our dedicated team in Kansas City, Missouri, as an Order Picker ! This dynamic role involves accurately selecting items for customer orders using RF scanners and other picking technologies. You will play a key part in ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy and adhering to all safety protocols. This is a fundamental position within our logistics network, requiring a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Proper use of PPE is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Meet established picking productivity and accuracy goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order processing.
- Support the overall operational goals of the warehouse and logistics department.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform manual tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Basic reading and comprehension skills. Team player with good communication skills. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines is crucial. This role is integral to our logistics operations and requires punctuality and reliability.
