We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily operations at our San Francisco, California facility. This pivotal role involves coordinating the movement of goods, managing warehouse staff, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and personnel supervision. You will be instrumental in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high levels of productivity and safety . This is a leadership position with significant responsibility within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures, focusing on efficiency and safety .
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and equipment operation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards, including proper PPE usage.
- Monitor and manage equipment maintenance schedules.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain logistics . Proficiency in WMS software. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Must be capable of performing tasks requiring physical exertion, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE is non-negotiable.
