Our Madison, Wisconsin warehouse is seeking an Order Picker to contribute to our efficient logistics operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role requires precision, speed, and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanning device.
- Locate and retrieve items from various warehouse locations.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment process.
- Participate in team goals for order fulfillment.
- Assist with Loading and unloading as needed, involving moderate Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform manual Lifting of products up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
