Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Boston, Massachusetts. The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our logistics and fulfillment center, ensuring that all materials are moved, organized, and prepared for distribution efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
  • Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to transport goods.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as needed.
  • Prepare materials for shipment by accurately picking, packing, and staging orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels and potential issues.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support the logistics team.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
