Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Huntsville, Alabama! We are seeking efficient and accurate individuals to join our distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product accuracy against order details.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly for outbound shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and picking area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for using scanners and inventory systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements: You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests and closed-toe shoes. The role requires consistent Lifting of items.
