* Manage employees and potentially oversees first level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Software Engineering * Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures, and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives * Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements * Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and team members * Provides guidance, oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes * Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
* 1 or more years of demonstrated aptitude for leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science * 1+ years' experience working on real time Modeling and Simulation and/or Mission Systems products * 1+ years' experience with Earned Value Management * Working knowledge of the Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) * Experience leading teams, ideally software teams
