We are seeking adrivenAssociate Data Scientist to joinourgrowingteam at Loop Horizon.This role suits someone with solid technical foundations who is eager to take on responsibilityand learns quickly by doing. As an Associate Data Scientist, you will own analytical workstreams within client projects - building models, generating insights, and delivering data products that drivereal businessdecisions. You'llwork closely with a senior data scientist who will help shape your approach, provide guidance on technical and client challenges, and support your development. That said,we'relooking for someone who is naturally curious and proactive - someone who enjoys figuring things out and takes ownership of their work. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to do meaningful, client-facing work and grow quickly through varied,hands-onexperience. Responsibilities
Own analytical workstreams within client engagements, delivering robustsolutions with senior support asrequired Conduct exploratory analysis,identifypatterns, and translate findings into actionable recommendations Develop and implement data products that address client business challenges – from core analytics toproduction ready MLsolutions Communicate results clearly to non-technical stakeholders, both in writing and in person Tackle ambiguous problems with initiative, while knowing when to collaborate or escalate Keep pace with emerging tools and techniques - particularly in AI - and look for opportunities to apply them Skills and Qualifications:
Required: 2+years ofcommercialexperience in either data analytics, datascienceor machine learning A strong academic background in a STEM subject (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering etc)from atop University FluentSQL skills alongsideproficiencyin Python for data manipulation,analysisand modelling Solid grasp of core machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering),when to apply themand how to evaluate results Strong communicator-ableto explain technical work clearly to non-technical audiences Experience with marketing data, digital behavioural data (Adobe Analytics/GA4) and marketing analytics use cases (e.g., segmentation, attribution, propensity modelling) is beneficial but notrequired Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) anddata warehousing technologies (e.g., Databricks,BigQuery, Redshift)is a big plus Comfortable using Git for versioning and collaboration Our Commitment to You:
