Overview:

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of janitorial services at designated sites. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will assist in coordinating and supervising the janitorial staff, ensuring that cleaning standards are met, and client expectations are exceeded. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport lifts and related equipment using a towed trailer in a safe and compliant manner

  • Conduct routine safety inspections and quality control inspections across all operational areas

  • Provide overnight support as needed, including checking on teams and covering for the Night Shift Supervisor

  • Support and oversee high-rise window-washing operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards

  • Assist with coordination between day and night teams to maintain continuity of operations

  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and digital records

  • Respond promptly to operational issues and escalate concerns when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Experience transporting equipment using a truck and towed trailer

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols, inspection procedures, and quality standards

  • Familiarity with high-rise window-washing operations, equipment, and safety requirements, including but not limited to: scissor lifts, ladders, swing stages, rope access, and extension pole work

  • Computer literacy, including scheduling tools, reporting systems, and communication platforms

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing operational needs

  • Flexibility to work overnight hours when required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs for equipment handling

  • Ability to operate, load, and secure lifts and related equipment for transport

  • Comfortable working at heights and in high-rise window-washing environments

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform inspections for extended periods

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions typical of Minnesota

  • Ability to safely drive, load, and maneuver a vehicle with a towed trailer

  • Ability to work occasional overnight shifts, including late-night site checks

Work Schedule
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Must be able to adjust schedule for overnight coverage when needed
