Purpose

The Recruiter role supports recruitment activities across the organization. This role serves as a talent advisor to hiring managers helping attract, assess, and onboard top talent. This role partners closely with hiring managers to find, attract, and welcome talent in a way that reflects EFCO's values and prioritizes the candidate experience and continuous improvement of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate Management (60%)

Support full-cycle recruitment activities by managing job postings and job board requirements, sourcing qualified candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial phone screens, assisting with candidate assessments, conducting interviews, and facilitating offers.

  • Hiring Partner Support (20%)

Work closely with managers to understand hiring needs, recommend recruitment strategies, and provide consultative support to assess candidates. Collaborate with HR and hiring teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support internship and apprenticeship programs.

  • Candidate Experience (20%)

Ensure a smooth and professional experience for all applicants through consistent communication, timely follow-ups. and efficient coordination. Look for opportunities to streamline and improve candidate touchpoints in partnership with the HR team.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field required.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Other Requirements: Strong organizational and time management skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Working Arrangement

  • This role will work 100% onsite at our Des Moines, IA office.
