Compensation: $15–$16/hour — depending on experience
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Most Fridays 7:30 AM- 1:30 PM with occasional 7:30 AM -4:00 PM shifts
When patient care or coverage needs arise, Friday hours may extend to 5:00 PM at any location for any employee.
Locations & Travel
We operate across five metro-area offices: Owasso, Midtown, South Tulsa, Sapulpa, and Broken Arrow. Each location functions as part of one connected care team. While this position is primarily based at our Broken Arrow office, travel between offices is required for coverage, training, and teamwork.
Travel is communicated in advance whenever possible, though same-day needs may occasionally occur. Mileage between offices is reasonable, and travel time between offices mid-day is included as part of your scheduled shift and will be reflected on your timeclock accordingly.
About the Role
We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our patient care team at MTFAS. Our medical assistants play a vital role in supporting our podiatrists and ensuring each patient receives excellent care from start to finish.
No podiatry experience is required — we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to help you learn clinical procedures, podiatric care techniques, and EMR documentation. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for future medical or healthcare students looking to gain meaningful, in-clinic experience.
What You'll Do
- Room patients and take accurate vital signs
- Perform X-rays and assist with in-office procedures
- Set up and maintain sterile surgery trays
- Trim nails, remove sutures, and assist with patient triage
- Prepare, apply, and remove casts or bandages as directed by the physician
- Clean and sterilize instruments according to infection control standards
- Document clinical notes and update patient records in the EMR system
- Support providers during exams and procedures, ensuring smooth patient flow
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and coworkers
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices as needed
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with EMR systems preferred, but not required — training provided
- Medical Assistant or previous clinical experience preferred
