Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing guest relations and coordinating seating arrangements in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain an organized waiting list and provide accurate wait time estimates to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to assist with order processing when necessary.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
• Assist in training new staff members on guest relations and restaurant procedures as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and over the phone.
• A passion for food service and guest relations, demonstrating an understanding of the importance of creating memorable dining experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
