Concrete Construction Laborer

Well-established site & concrete company looking for an experienced, driven, and reliable Concrete Construction Laborer

Headquartered in Greater Philadelphia, we work for the largest developers and GC's in PA/NJ/NY and are well-known throughout the industry for providing high quality work on schedule.

As a concrete construction laborer, you will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading construction materials to support the execution of the concrete construction project. Additional responsibilities include raking concrete during concrete pours and corresponding prep and clean-up. You will take directions from project foreman and/or field manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Help equipment operator, concrete finishers and other skilled labor to execute project plan
• Assist in setting and removing concrete forms
• Moving and placing rebar, expansion and other components related to concrete construction
• Load or unload equipment and materials
• Assist with daily set-up and breakdown to ensure safe and compliant work environment daily
• Ensure work site is clean and compliant with project standards at the end of the day
• Raking concrete during pours
• Follow instructions from foreman/supervisor/company management
• General care for all tools and equipment utilized
• Learn to operate skid steers and any other equipment necessary for successful completion of the job

*Physical demands of this position include lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally; 40-50 pounds frequently and carrying same*

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry, concrete laborer experience preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Willing to travel / stay overnight based on job location
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
• Ability to work in all weather
• Must have valid drivers license
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle report and background check
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
