Plumbing Heating Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Heating Technician to join our team, providing essential services in construction, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and HVAC systems. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems across various construction sites and buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation or repair projects
• Conduct remodeling tasks including carpentry, assembly, and general maintenance person work to support plumbing and HVAC installations
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment
• Assist with pipe fitting, threading, and system testing to ensure compliance with codes and standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, HVAC systems, or related fields
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, heating systems, and remodeling processes
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and protocols
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and system specifications
• Experience with carpentry, assembly work, or remodeling projects is a plus
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
• Good problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in troubleshooting complex systems

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
